How do you ensure the freshness of your flours and grains?
At The Old Mill, we stone-grind our grains in small batches. Each order is packed in breathable, moisture-resistant packaging to ensure you receive the freshest product possible directly from our facility.
What is the typical shelf life of your stone-ground products?
Since we do not use artificial preservatives, our stone-ground flours typically have a shelf life of 6 to 9 months. We recommend storing them in a cool, dry place or in the freezer to extend their peak flavor.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we ship our specialty food items across the United States and Canada. Shipping rates and delivery times vary based on the weight of the order and the destination.
Are your products suitable for those with gluten sensitivities?
While we offer many naturally gluten-free grains like cornmeal and buckwheat, all our products are processed on shared equipment that also handles wheat. We do not recommend our products for individuals with Celiac disease.
What is your return policy for food items?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on food items. However, if your order arrives damaged or if there is an error, please contact us within 48 hours for a replacement or refund.
Can I track my order once it has been placed?
Yes, as soon as your order is processed and leaves The Old Mill, you will receive an email notification containing a tracking number to monitor your shipment's progress.
